Zhudong Hills was originally an uplifted alluvial fan platform, but the flat surface of the platform was mostly cut by rivers and disappeared. The terrain is highest at the northern foot of Wuzhi Mountain in the southeast and decreases to the northwest. Before the Han nationality entered the land, there were aborigines hunting and nomadic farming in the Zhudong area, and there were also a large number of migrating Hakka groups. Therefore, the majority of the population was Hakka groups and aboriginal people.
