The Lanyang Plain is mainly formed by the alluvial of the Lanyang Creek and the elevation of the topography. It is an alluvial fan plain with thick middle and thin sides. It is shaped like a dustpan with the opening facing the Pacific Ocean. Due to the abundance of water resources (rainfall, springs, ditches), there are obvious scattered village settlements.
